MG Strike Freedom

Hi everone :)
Exams are done, so i have time for some gunpla :D

After the Destiny i realized i have to work on my basics
so i'm making my Strike Freedom OOB

Phew, two weeks is too much for me >.<
Luckily it's over now and i have time to do some gunpla :D
Started on the MG Strike Freedom FBM.

I finished the torso and i compared it to my old NG Strike Freedom and i was amazed, it look so much better, the proportions on the NG are all messed up. (i'm thinking of using it as modding practice)

I also bought some supplies yesterday:
0.3 mm styrene plate
1 mm styrene plate

My exams are starting tomorrow, so i wont be on my computer so much.

NG 1/100 Destiny

After 2 months it's finally done :D
The blue is oil color for paintings
The red is also oil color for paintings but is a custom mix
The light frey is custom mixed enamels
The joint are mettalic enamel
The yellow is also oil color for paintings
The green is also oil color for paintings (alos custom mix)
The light blue is decanted spray can (custom mix)

But alot went wrong... im mean [i]alot[/i]

some stuff because of my lack of experience (>.<)
some were just plain bad luck (>_>)

just to name some:

-water in my paint (no watertrap...)
-parts breaking after the painting
-fingers on wet paint
-wet paint on other parts
-weak joints
-i lost the face so i had to replace it with the face from my old Strike Freedom
-out of flatcoat...

because of all this i had to glue everything, so now it's in a fixed pose...

i learned alot from this build, so in a way, it was worth it... :)

small update:

redid the wing (for the 5th time, not as easy as i thought :S )

cut off the ammo pack and the thing surrounding the handle (dunno what that is called...)

started some work on the torso,
widening:

lengthening:

adding some detail to the skirts, freehand because i'm too lazy to measure :S
(therefore not so exact...)

back to reading book for school >.<

but i have 3-day weekend so while all my friends are going to movies or concert i'm working on my destiny xD

After 3 months of waiting my package arrived :D !
With a Tamiya Spraywork compressor with airbrush :D

And a new model kit :D

When I wanted to try the compressor, I noticed that here is no power source provided :S
And for some weird reason all the AC adapters here don't fit in the machine...
So after cutting up some wires I connected an adapter to the battery adapter :) ( actually my uncle did it for me...)

After everything worked I tested it on my Destiny with some primer, works great :D

some more updates... -filled some hollow space i just found the other front skirt after taking the pics, too lazy to take new pic >.<

-sanded the legthened wing thingy's -sharpened the shield (it's not that visible on the pic...) -lengthened the feet -i lost one of those black things on the knees so i decided to make 2 new ones now back to work maybe new update tonight...

worked on my Destiny a little... filled some of the holes: lengthened the wing thingy's some more: messed around with the legs xD, HIGH KICK!!! had an idea, need some feedback: (basic idea was pistons showing thru armor) that's it for now :)

Working on HG Destiny

First Gunpla post :D

Primed my Destiny:

Mods made:

-tried to lengthen those wing thingy's with epoxy

-sharpened the shoulder boomerangs
-modded the ankle's for better articulation
-scribed some new panellines
-added pla plates
-drilled some vent holes (some are for inserting metal beads)
-flattened the arm protector

-lifted the knees

That's it for now :)
